APKRune respects the intellectual property rights of software publishers, game developers, artists, and every individual or organization that creates original content. This page describes how we handle copyright matters on apkrune.com and guides copyright owners on submitting takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of the United States.
Our Commitment to Copyright
APKRune is a website that shares content and resources related to Android games and applications. We are not the original publisher of any software featured on the site. Most APK files are sourced from public repositories, directly from developers themselves, or legitimately extracted from official distribution platforms. Our goal is to provide reference information and download links for users while maintaining maximum respect for the rights of original content owners.
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative of one, and you believe that content on apkrune.com infringes upon your rights, please submit a DMCA notice following the instructions below. We will review and respond as quickly as possible.
Content Covered by This Policy
This policy applies to all types of content that may appear on APKRune, including but not limited to the following categories:
- Application and game installation files in APK, XAPK, APKS, and OBB formats.
- Screenshots, game cover art, application icons, and promotional banners.
- Gameplay videos, trailers, and tutorial videos.
- Descriptions, reviews, gameplay guides, and accompanying technical documentation.
- Brand names, logos, and registered trademarks belonging to developers and publishers.
How to Submit a DMCA Notice
To request the removal of content you believe infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the contact address at the bottom of this page. The notice must follow DMCA requirements so that we have a clear legal basis to process it promptly.
Required Information in a DMCA Notice
A valid notice must include all of the following elements:
- An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work that has allegedly been infringed, specifically the name of the application, game, or original content, together with evidence of ownership where available.
- The exact URL pointing to the allegedly infringing content on apkrune.com. You should provide links to specific articles or specific files rather than only naming the domain in general.
- Contact information for the submitter, including full name, address, telephone number, and an active email address.
- A good faith statement affirming that the use of the content as described is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, that you assume legal responsibility for the truthfulness of the statement, and that you confirm being the copyright owner or a duly authorized representative.
Notices missing any of the items above may experience delays or be deemed inadmissible. We encourage you to use email for submission since it is the fastest channel for us to receive and act on a notice.
Our Processing Workflow
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, APKRune will take the following steps:
- Verify the completeness and validity of the notice within 24 to 72 business hours of receipt.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content while the review is underway.
- Notify the original poster (where applicable) of the removal along with the reason.
- Reply to the notice submitter by email with confirmation of the action taken.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you are a content poster and believe that your material was removed by mistake or because of misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notice. A counter-notice must contain the following components:
- Your electronic or physical signature.
- A description of the removed content and the URL where the content previously appeared.
- A good faith statement affirming that you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification of the work.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, along with consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court in your place of residence, or in the United States if you reside outside U.S. territory.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the party who filed the original DMCA notice. If that party does not initiate legal action within the period prescribed by law, the content may be restored.
Repeat Infringer Policy
APKRune enforces a strict policy regarding repeated copyright infringement. Where appropriate, we reserve the right to terminate access, remove contributor accounts, or permanently delete any content associated with repeat infringers without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
APKRune acts in good faith when receiving and processing DMCA notices. We are not a court, however, and we do not have the authority to adjudicate ownership or copyright disputes between parties. The removal of content based on a DMCA notice does not constitute confirmation that infringement has occurred. In complex disputes, the parties involved should seek resolution through professional legal counsel or through a court of competent jurisdiction.
